Why is the product shiny?

Plutos are 100% cheese with a firm, sound rind. The shiny effect is basically protection — a very thin outer layer that becomes glossy through our air-drying process.

What dog chews are safe?

Chews that aren't too hard, are digestible within 24 hours, aren't smoked, are lactose-free and gluten-free, low in fat and carbohydrates, and made under HACCP and GMP certification. Plutos falls into that category.

Can puppies have chews?

Yes — Plutos has a chew specifically for puppies, called 'My First Cheese Chew', recommended once puppies have lost their milk teeth, around 6–7 months old.

How do dental chews work?

Friction isn't the only answer. Plutos contains casein (lactose-free), a natural ingredient proven to eliminate harmful dental bacteria by acting as an antibacterial agent due to its pH level.

Do dog chews cause weight gain?

Generally not, unless they're smoked or high in fat and carbohydrates. Plutos chews are air-dried, low in fat and low in carbohydrates.
