What are the ingredients of Plutos Healthy Chews? Human-grade lactose-free milk protein, animal protein, dehydrated apple, calcium and antioxidants (Vitamin E). DIFFERENT FLAVORS MAY HAVE DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS OR PROTEINS from 100% European certified partners 

Why the product is shiny? Plutos are 100% cheese with a firm, sound rind. The shiny effect is basically protection — a very thin outer layer that becomes glossy through our air-drying process.

What dog chews are safe? Chews that aren't too hard, are digestible within 24 hours, aren't smoked, are lactose-free and gluten-free, low in fat and carbohydrates, and made under HACCP and GMP certification. Plutos falls into that category.

Can puppies have chews? Yes — Plutos has a chew specifically for puppies, called 'My First Cheese Chew', recommended once puppies have lost their milk teeth, around 6–7 months old.

How do dental chews work? Friction isn't the only answer. Plutos contains casein (lactose-free), a natural ingredient proven to eliminate harmful dental bacteria by acting as an antibacterial agent due to its pH level.

Do dog chews cause weight gain? Generally not, unless they're smoked or high in fat and carbohydrates. Plutos chews are air-dried, low in fat and low in carbohydrates.

Where is Plutos made? Every Plutos chew is produced in our own certified facility on Madeira Island, Portugal — from milk sourced through European partners. We don't outsource, and we don't cut corners.

How long does a Plutos chew last? Chew time depends on your dog's size and chewing style. A Medium chew typically lasts a strong chewer 20–40 minutes. Remember: chewing minutes aren't the point — dental benefits over time are.

Is Plutos safe for dogs with allergies? Yes. Plutos is naturally lactose-free, gluten-free and grain-free. We offer novel-protein options — Duck, Lamb, Salmon — for dogs with poultry or beef sensitivities.
